QBalance156
I plan on ordering a Navitimer from Joshua today, and it seems that the appropriate strap for this is a 22/20. The rep deployant size is 20mm. I see that BOB is selling Deployant straps sized at 22/18. Is anyone out there running a 22/18 deployant strap from BOB on a 20mm rep deployant? I hear that his leather straps are awesome, but most people are running the tang-type straps. How bad is this 2mm gap?
poopypants
yeah! It was a concern for me too, but don't worry about it... even the bob deployment is a 22/20 and works/looks just fine!

The BOB deployment is adverised as a 22/18, and that is exactly what mine is.
poopypants
This shows the amount of spacing on the loop hole for the 22/18 strap... notice the extra spacing is about 2mm... but it looks JUST FINE!!! musicale
The buckle side is 18mm as well though. Is that the same on the Breitling deployments?
TmeShare
The buckle side is 18mm as well though. Is that the same on the Breitling deployments? The older Breitling deployants are 18mm (which the BOB straps are made for) and the newer Breitling Deployant is 20mm. Not sure why Breitling made the change in size (the style and appearance of the deploy is the same). My guess is either Breitling with larger case watches thought 20mm was better (doesn't explain AP ROO straps) OR most likely the change and phasing out of the 18mm end strap forced folks to buy new deployant clasps and straps which means more MONEY for Breiting and their ADs.
