Going To London Tomorrow

Anybody recommend any good watch shops to visit around? I'm not too sure if I will even have time to do any shopping, but I would like to know in advance. I will be in London for a week to visit old friends who I haven't seen since 2001.

Thanks

If you hit New Bond street you can check out the Watches of Switzerland there and another one thats right next to Bvlgari (cant remember the name) also from there Selfridges is only up the road and they sometimes have a nice collection too. Then hop onto a bus / taxi / tube to Knightsbridge and check out the WoS there and the Harrods watch department which is full of goodies too

We vacationed in London end of March and one of the most interesting things we did was to take the ferry down the Thames to Greenwich, about a 4.5 mile ride. You get to see London from a different perspective and I was amazed at the interesting modern architecture along the river banks.

Then we went to the Museum of Space & Time at the Greenwich observatory, atop a hill with a nice view of London. The Museum is very cool and relevant to WISs. It houses a collection of eary clocks, pocket and wristwatches including John Harrison's first clock that revolutionized global timekeeping. We spent over 2 hours there looking at everything. Very highly recommended.

There's a shop called Wempe on New Bond Street which has a nice collection, including Panerai, JLC, Lange etc. Selfridges have a nice collection too.
