Coeuss Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 a Dome Carbo-Hydrogen Polymer crystal and how does it compare to Mineral Glass, the old plastic, and sapphire?
musicale Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 Did a quick Google search, and saw it come up on a couple PAM homages on eBay. I then did a quick search on sapphire, mineral glass and acrylic glass... and acrylic glass has the molecular formula of (C5O2H8)n... my chemistry is VERY rusty, but I think the n indicates a polymer strand, so my guess is that carbo-hydrogen polymer is an unnnecessarily fancypants name that indicates acrylic glass.
Coeuss Posted February 10, 2008 Author Report Posted February 10, 2008 Thanks, that was my thinking too just another name for plastic. thanks again
