omeega Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 I recently purchased a retro GMT, and I'm pretty happy with it. The only real problems are the loose-clicking bezel, which sounds simple from what I've read, and the crown seems dangerously loose and off-center when I unscrew it. I'd like to replace the bezel insert and the crown/tube, but after searching I can't find anything that says definitively if these gen parts will fit with the Retro version. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
w.genzo Posted February 13, 2008 Report Posted February 13, 2008 You'll have to shave a little bit the insert and to drill/tap the case to fit the new tube. They will work The bezel is an easy fix, I also did it, then I broke the movement but that's another story..
