stem size help

I am building a 3646 panerai it has a NOS unitas movement and the stem for it is 120. I am putting a Genuine rolex 7mm crown/tube on it which reguires a 90 stem. There is no room between the case and movement to use an adaptor stem 120/90, any ideas? Could you grind the unitas stem to fit the Rolex crown and lock tite it in?

you must cut the stem from 120 to 90

but only few watchsmiths can do this work
