db1 Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) Hi, i recently have got a used faux rolex daytona with the running secs @ 6 from a member here on rwg. got it for fun, and interest. other then the TERRIBLE sub-dials, which are fat and shiny, the watch is pretty nice. the sub-dials works as day-date at 9 and 3 positions, and the secs running currectly at 6. have opened the case, to find a movement that is as far as i know, a DG2813 i wonder, how did they get this movement to have secs running @ 6 ? is that a modification ? or the movement has this feature out of the box? as much as i know, the DG2813 is a simple date movement, and sometimes has the faux chronos (without having running seconds) am i wrong? i know there is also the higher beat version of this movement, does it also have the ability to run the secs @ 6 with the faux hands at 9 and 3 ? any information is welcome thankss db1 Edited February 29, 2008 by db1
