2005SUBMARINER Posted March 2, 2008 Author Report Posted March 2, 2008 the steelfish stoped after 18 hours , is that normal for dg2813 power reserve ? & the crown seems to screw in , in the power reserve winding position cause i can hear the grinding of the asian power reserve as i screw in the crown is that normal for dg2813 movement ? or do i have to do a movement transplant . thanx in advance ..
grantyboy_72 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 "the crown seems to screw in , in the power reserve winding position cause i can hear the grinding of the asian power reserve as i screw in the crown" Mine also makes a grinding noise when screwing in crown. Not sure if it is the power reserve winding or just tight. Any info from members with some experience of this would be greatly appreciated. cheers
PAMman Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 My experience with the ETA version is that the screw-in crown was very tight initially but that it gradually lossened up and became very smooth. I understand that this is a common feature of the ETA and likely the Asian version is the same.
