Thanks for the reply. Haven't tried that yet.
During my lunch I loosened the case back slightly and hey presto it started working again
Will keep an eye on it and if it happens again will try hand winding it. Failing that I might try a movement replacement.
Feeling quite confident after reading a few posts with pictorials. I have heard it is a straight swap if I use a miyota 8215 which I have read
is a really good movement.
Thanks again.
Had my asian SOSF for 2 weeks, working great, keeping good time till this morning. Stopped at 9.30.
Been wearing it daily since it arrived. I suppose it could be a number of things but any suggestions as to what the problem might be from someone who has had this problem would be greatly appreciated. Tried winding it forward 48hrs, no joy. The rotor is free moving so I imagine it has a good power reserve.
Please help.
"the crown seems to screw in , in the power reserve winding position cause i can hear the grinding of the asian power reserve as i screw in the crown"
Mine also makes a grinding noise when screwing in crown. Not sure if it is the power reserve winding or just tight.
Any info from members with some experience of this would be greatly appreciated.
cheers
Thanks for all the great comments guys.
Been wearing it 3 days straight. My mate is really into watches and couldn't believe it was a rep.
I think i may have recruited another rep addict.
Just received my SOSF from Jay. As this was my first venture into the world of reps I prompted for the asian version.
Very happy with it, no glaring flaws as far as I can see.
Took some photos, not the greatest quality. Hope I uploaded them properly.
I have noticed that Trusty Time and Perfect Clones have the exact same pictures of this watch on their sites.
I am looking to buy my first replica and this concerns me as there are so many scam sites on the go.
Are these two sites run by the same person?
Any info or thoughts on this would be appreciated.
