anton
Patek experts would be able to give you a better explanation. But from what I know, I've only known of two combinations: Calatrava 5196, which has seconds @ 6, but no date Calatrava 5117G, which has date @3 and centre seconds. Experts chime in if I am wrong, but this is probably a fantasy model. And if it is, I've run into only two gen Patek wearers: one at the airport, another who looked like a bag lady. So if you like it, go for it.
pezzy
thanks for the response. im actually not too bothered whether its a fantasy or not, its actually the size im more worried about. at the moment im deciding whether to get this or the slightly larger classic chronograph (the fantasy model with two dials at 3 and 9). addingwatch
Fantasy, and not a particularly good one. On modern dress models, hands & markers should match the case. Regards.
