Oh cr@p! My GMT!

Well I had on my beater GMT today and when I got home, it looked a little different.

To bad the insert was centered when I got it. If I would have centered it, it would have been adhered better and I wouldn't have lost it. I just ordered a replacement but since I really didn't like the split tone of the original insert, I ordered the all silver one. It may look horrible on the black dialed model (I think that insert was just used on the later white dial GMTs) but I'll give it a shot.

BTW...what does the top of that beer can remind you of? It reminds me that I need a Bond Seasmaster Pro!

I think it looks pretty tough with the bezel missing, especially with the fabric strap. Sort of like a "scars of war" motif. Very rugged.

Well here it is with the new insert. All silver this time. Chose to switch up a little and get away from that split tone GMT insert that it came with. The silver insert reminds me a little of the America's Cup Omega.
