Color of gold in a rolex DJ

Hi ,

I had recently bought a rollie dj full gold from joshua.quite pleased with the watch. my only hesitation is that being unfamiliar with rollies is the color of gold because when i compare the color to a true 18K gold bracelet, the color in the rollie seems less yellow.

the watch was advertised as 18K but the color is prob closer to what i think is 14K.

question : is this consistent with what's in the gen ?

any advice or insights ?

i have a full YG day date from EL (those were the days) and it is pretty close to the correct look for 18K YG. However I have seen some of the YG DD's from other dealers and agree with you that they don't look like the gen (18K) but rather, as you note, somewhat cooler like 14K. I do not like the look of 14K.
