Watch Winders and Auto movements

I have a decent watch winder... Set to rotate 33 seconds every 12 minutes. My question is this. I have a Breitling Evo Chrono, which stays working with no issue, I have three ETA - 2836-2 movements, which are working fine. Then i have one Asian 21J movement, which keeps stopping! Was wondering if three was something pathetically stupid that i might be doing. Right now i am trying to run it counter-clockwise, see if that does the trick.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I dunno if this will, but on some watches the angle of the winder is important. I mostly have larger sized dive watches and have found that on some winders the shere size of the watch and the angle of the winder plate won't allow for a complete rotation of the winding mechanism. At first, I thought there was something wrong with my watch. I only learned it was the winder when I tried multiple watches on the winder. Only to find they were not wound after a few days on the winder. Hope that helps. Good luck.
