Buy a genuine one, remove the datewheel and put it in the rep.

Or call Breitling themselves and ask for one, saying that you need one to make a fake Breitling perfect. I'm sure they'll understand.

Not that it will make you feel better but if you are looking for it to fit into a swiss 7750 the typical stock ETA font is not bad at all relative to the gen. Also Breitling actually varies its font based on the model so it is not like PAM where there is one and only one font.

thanks kruzer. i was comparing a swiss 7750 wheel to a chrono wheel and while they are pretty close, the "1" has the point at the tip of the "1" on the avenger and not on the 7750 wheel.

If we could ever find enough people who were interested and a good pic of the original datewheel it could make a very interesting project since certain members have found very professional datewheel printers. Does anyone know if the new Bentley's have a good datewheel and if not whether the font is the same? If that is the case then there might well be enough interest to make it a worthwhile project.
