jomama
Guys: It's been a year since I have ventured in these parts but my LV lost its pearl. Rather than replacing this, the watch has taken a beating due to homespun mods, out of control machining devices etc. Anyone know if these have improved in the last year. Looking to get a good one out of the box and not having to do mods since i screw these up. Thanks!! Also, it appears the websites have all changed or disapeared from my old "favorites" that I had. Where is Josh and Andrew and Paul???

piratedzeus
Best out of the box is the BKmariner! A modded ETA Noobmariner Good as well, simple the Noobmariner with ETA or Asian movement. These are out of the box the best choices.
piratedzeus
BKmariner: http://www.replica-watch.info/phpBB3/viewt...117&t=33296 - most select sub rep with sharp bezel teeth, correct date font. No overly deep teeth cuts that are into the bezel lip, no rounded teeth. - CGs trimmed - widened bezel lip to be more gen-like. It's hard to see the widened lip in the pics but it looks awesome in real life. - insert refitted to be recessed, no floating insert. This is some serious sanding. - ETA movement - watchmaterial pearl - now with my custom made gen sized and shaped crown - $360, shipped CONUS ETA noobmariner: http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...9dffba56f11a568 Asian Submariner: http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=2614 Available as LV too of course
