Noobmariner trouble - Advice?

Dude

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have a noob sub with an asian 21J movement I bought during the group buy. The problem is that when screw down and tighten the crown the movement stops. I have to either not screw it down all the way or better yet leave it completely unscrewed. I could do this, but the watch looks "unfinished" like this and definitely takes away from the joy of owning the watch. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks.

It may be pushing the stem too far into the movement. See if you can screw the stem into the crown further, and if not, unscrew it from the crown, snip off a thread or two off the back with wire cutters, sand it down so itll screw back on, and screw it back onto the crown and see if that helped your problem

Sound advice.....

If

You know exactly what you are doing

&

Want to negate any chance of recourse with the supplier.
