beanyboy Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 I saw a similar version of this BCE at the Torneau flagship store...it has the presence of no other sport watch I have ever seen. It blew away every other Breity in the case.... I know that many of these would be sold if they made them...the "they" being whoever those folks are in China that make the decision to rep or not to rep.... this is a no brainer IMHO.
Corgi Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 here ya go http://www.pc-80108.com/bl00111-chronomat-...bph-p-3597.html ...and the reason many aren't sold is because the gold peels like a banana a'peelin !!
beanyboy Posted April 16, 2008 Author Report Posted April 16, 2008 Nice, but not the same...the one I like has a full gold bezel and white subdials.... I already own this version of the BCE and I love it. The gold plating has held up so far, but I haven't owned the watch for too long...
assasi9 Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 i like your taste. i also love this version of the BCE. the one i am particularly waiting to be reppedhas the same layout, but has roman numerals for the hour markers. it is stunning and if ever repped will be the only TT watch i would wear!
giorgio Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Always loved this one - reminds me of the Crosswind with better looking subdials.
assasi9 Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 i honestly dont know why the roman numeral dials havent been repped as i think they look better than the stick and the regular numbered dials.

You do have good taste assasi9! The picture you uploaded is the exact same watch I saw in the Tourneau store. This is the watch I want too. I can only hope that somebody in China will get around to repping this model with the 7750 movement. This watch, with the roman numerals, is the mother of all tt sport watches.... B
Corgi Posted April 17, 2008 Report Posted April 17, 2008 Oh yes, from this picture it is much clearer. This is a beautiful Breitling - one which I would even consider getting as a gen.
