UncleJay Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 I've taken some pics of my original Rolex Tropic strap with a re-issue that is currently available. I ordered the Tropic strap though my AD about 15 years ago, they are no longer available. The re-issue is about 95% on with obvious differences. The Tropic has "TROPIC" and 20mm on each strap end and the rubber is a little more pliable and has a matte finish. The original buckle also says "INOX" which is missing on the re-issue. All are less noticeable when an original is not available for comparison. These straps were available as a replacement for Sport models and were standard OEM on some models.
