  1. Why can I not post in the selling forum? I have been paying my monthly fee for 2 years now...

  2. I just bought the new one on one replica of the 50 years James Bond Seamaster from Perfect Clones (Joshua) for $328 and I love the watch. It is excellently made and comparing with the real one I cannot see any difference. I wear it all the time now and it keeps perfect time, has great lumes and the movement always keeps charged. be careful though that you get the new version, he also has a first version that is not as accurate. The only thing are the bracelet links. They look right, but I have never found a replica Seamaster with links like the original where every little segment moves individually. A real Omega Seamaster bracelet is a work of art, but it costs 3 times of what this whole watch costs... http://www.p-cls.com/om300m007a-50th-anni-swiss-28242-p-13578.html
  3. It is true about the VAT added on, but if you return to the US you can get that reimbursed at customs when you leave at the airport. It is a bit of hassle, but for an expensive item definitely worth it. Ask at the dealership for form you need, they will know.
  4. Rolex GMT master classic Pepsi bezel from Puretime - if it ever comes out
  5. Can this Unitas movement from this watch be used with a Panerai dial and case or does it need modification: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130334764611&ssPageName=STRK:MEUSX:IT Also was Unitas used in early Panerai watches or was it the Rolex version? Thanks
  6. Don't like the FAT crown guards on the sub, the brushing could just be the picture...
  7. Which model was that - do you have a link? Thanks!
  8. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=220404977134 Is that for real? The price sure is not...
  9. I would put the crown into the date set position and run the date and day around for a few cycles to make sure there are no obstructions there. If it still does not change the day then there is something wrong with the date part of the movement and it is not an easy fix. A watchmaker that handles reps can maybe do it..
  10. Hhmm - Genoa? Isn't that where a big concentration of a very influencial Italian family organization is? Maybe they did not like the Chinese guy busting in on their market.
  11. Its a good idea to remove more of the solid links to have some adjustable ones left. But this ceramic is extremely hard, nothing like tile ceramic, I doubt that a ceramic drill will be a match. May breaking links is the only option, but I would make sure that the hollow parts on the middle links then is large enough to hold pins?? Well good luck with this operation
  12. Hi and welcome! Is there still no good Monaco rep available? I am looking for some time now.. Cheers
  13. Wow - I had bought a high end one and still only the 1 piece links. Is it possible to buy the good bracelet from a rep site and if yes which one? thanks!
  14. Even though somebody wrote already that you might not like a quartz in the long run, I have to emphasize that. Even an ETA Swiss quartz movement costs only about $20 for plain date and about $50 for a chrono version. I just cannot see why such a watch should retail for around $2000 - I would go with a rep auto any day. BTW the best way to tell a gen SMP is to ask if the links are flexible in the middle, all the reps have one piece links.
  15. Like everyone says - second hand needs to be pushed on a little, thats the only explanation for the intermittened movement changes.. It should not he hard to do
  16. Wow Spin made a beautiful watch there. How much does one like that cost and is it the 7750 mvmnt? Another question - I saw in this thread EE mentioned several times and cannot figure out who that is? Thanks!
  17. Yes - I had emailed Jay about 6 months ago abaout this watch, but now I send him another email to keep on the lookout...
  18. Just like it says on Silix's site - not available!
  19. I saw some pictures of the original, but I could not see a movement number. It is from the 40's and looks like a old version of valjoux. 7733 is much newer and I don't know if it would fit. Anyway this case was made for the Lemania copy, so all bets are off for other movements..
  20. Well I bought 2 watches from the guy. Of course for the price you can't expect a topshelf rep, but they work flawless. Also note his feedback....
