bertieng
Intending to change my FM Conq. ETA2892-2 with a gen. dial. Any members have the experience if a direct swapping is workable? Are the positions of the legs on the gen. dial same as those on the rep. to fit onto the movt? And the date window is at the same position too? Also looking for the gen. crown but is extremely hard to find. Then will it fit onto the exisiting case tube? Thanks. halley
Well if you know where to source a gen dial, I'm interested, for the feet I believe it is the same position as on the rep AFAIK, the gen also uses a 2892 base caliber...so it should fit no problem if the case is the correct dimension. irongambit
A little off subject, but if you've sourced a gen dial, have you been able to source a gen crown? I'd love to hear where from if you have. Thanks IG

archibald
I am also looking hard for the gen. crown for months but without no success. I can only speak for the older model of Conq rep, but the dial fit fine. The OEM feet should match the 2892 version 1:1. Good luck on the crown--I bout 1 lot of muller crowns a long time ago, and have seen none before or since, searching at least an hour every weekend since I have three frankenmullers that need crowns.
