milsub5517 Posted April 30, 2008 Report Share Posted April 30, 2008 (edited) this is the reason why a lot of people never buy fake gold watches. the only solution would be electroplating more gold (thicker layer, at least 20*10e-6m) on worn case and crown. i have no idea how much this costs. could you post some pictures for all of us to see what happens if you wear "gold" on daily basis?
