Nebakanezzar Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 Hey all, My mother is retiring this summer, and I was thinking of getting her a watch as a gift....got some suggestions? I am thinking something practical, not very "blingy"....just a nice everyday watch..... thanx
SubFrog Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 Baume & Mercier CapeLand Lady or Cartier Lady Pasha
HighDef Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 Ladies Chanel J12 Ladies Rolex DJ Ladies Omega Double Eagle
jfreeman420 Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 I picked up a used two tone Rolex with an oyster bracelet no date slate dial for about $1200. Came with box and papers. Took it to my watch guy and had it polished and overhauled. She got a brand new watch and it was way under $2K. She wears it every day she isn't wearing the White gold pearlmaster I got her from River. Both very nive for women.
rek001 Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 If a rep is OK, I would recommend a small or mid-size rolesium Yachtmaster, sporty yet a bit fancy with all the sparkly silver effect going on. Classy, timeless luxurious design.,
jkerouac Posted June 23, 2006 Report Posted June 23, 2006 I believe Joshua has a ladies version of the VC Overseas: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=5770 Another nice choice would be the Omega Constellation. There are versions in SS, two tone, or gold. Here is one: http://perfect-clones.com/product_info.php...products_id=648 But definitely don't get your mother a rep unless she is aware of what it is and she is OK with the notion.
Nebakanezzar Posted June 24, 2006 Author Report Posted June 24, 2006 Yeah, sorry...I am thinking rep...unfortunatly I dont have the means to give her a gen....though she deserves one is there a good rep of this? Baume & Mercier CapeLand Lady
Chronus Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 pam 187 I concur. Or the Omega Railmaster XXL.
robertrinaustin Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 I like the Omega Constellation and I doubt anyone will ever question if it is genuine. I bought my wife a genuine a few years back and it is her favorite watch.
