If This Omega Is Fake, Where Do I Get One???

I came across this topic on MWR on fake Omegas. I have never seen these around so I'm wondering if these are actually made or if it is something different.

Looks to be a frankenstein using a gen movement from another Omega; possibly a fake or refinished dial and caseback engravings done after the fact.

These most likely come up on eBay, sold and advertised as genuine...

That would drive me _crazy_ every time I looked at it.

I don't think the hands (hour, mins or secs) are even attached to the pinion! I think they are just resting on the dial hence them not being straight. But looks funny to me regardless =)

I bet you are right. The WWW looks very strange now that I look at it a little more.

Still a cool looking watch though. I guess you just need to know what to look out for.
