Nightstroker Posted May 20, 2008 Report Share Posted May 20, 2008 I recently broke the stem to my 2836-1....so I ordered a new one from Ofrei.... The problem is that the new stem is a little bit longer than the broken one.... See.... Am I supposed to cut or snip off the excess? I was also wondering if maybe when I removed the old stem from the crown I twisted it off and left part of it inside of the crown.... Any help would be appreciated....
