andreas
Hi. I've bought a gmt II ( Modiefied ETA-2836) from angel a mounth ago. I've done work on the watch : removing dust on the dial,.... But today i've got a trouble : when i pull crown i can only move gmt hand or date wheel, but not hours hands nor minutes hands. What can I do ? Thank you for help. andreas
Thank you for you answer. I've tried this many times, but it doesn't work! An other idea ? Thanyou again. Hi Andreas, It sounds like you did not get the crown stem seated correctly back into the movement when you put it back in. Try removing the stem again, turning it slightly, then reinstalling it. Then try to pull it out and adjust the time... if it is still not right, repeat this until you get the crown stem back in correctly. Good luck! MAHLER
I recommend you to look for a watchmaker of trust. In case of doubt it's better to open the watch. To me an analogous thing has happened and the tooth of the gear that gives change to the hands was broken Edited July 2, 2006 by MAHLER

To me an analogous thing has happened and the tooth of the gear that gives change to the hands was broken Thank for your help. It me be something like that. Unfortunatly, here it's difficult to find a watchmaker of trust! I'll try to find it on the website. Regards.
MAHLER
I'll try to find it on the website. Don't despair. I don't know your nationality. Tries to PM with someone of your nation and perhaps you find a watchmaker..... Edited July 3, 2006 by MAHLER
