The range is so wide that it's nearly impossible to make a suggestion.

You need to give us a little more direction as to what you do/don't like and what your price range is.

Okej, Lets see, ill be more spesific, sorry.

I would like an 44 mm PAM, with the best clockwork of the watches i have in my "i would like to have list". And which one is the most like the gen.

Lets say that the maximum price is 800.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn09002-bracelet-w...erve-p-399.html -- sssurfer will tell you this movement is great, and he's probably right, but I don't like Contemporary PAMs, and I don't like bracelets, so this one won't get my vote. ;)

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00101-swiss-unitas-6497-p-778.html -- This is a great watch. Sausage dials are more correct than the sandwich dials, closed case backs hide the movement's visual flaws. This watch would get my vote. Get the canon pin fixed, the dial relumed and have a thicker crown installed. It suffers from the low cross bars on the "A"s, but almost all of the Historic reps do...

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00401-marina-swi...6497-p-799.html -- Same dial as the 001B above, which is a good thing. The caseback is slightly incorrect (should be OP6519, not OP6518) and the PVD coating is miles off. A cool watch, but needs more "fixing" than the 001B.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00501-logo-swiss...497-p-4135.html -- the OP logo is all wrong on this watch. I'm not a fan of that crown, either.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00501-logo-swiss...497-p-4135.html -- Same watch as above...

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn19501-logo-swiss...6497-p-588.html -- Fantasy watch. See above comments about the OP logo and PVD treatment.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn17702-titanium-s...neck-p-868.html -- Check with Josh, I believe this watch is permanently out of stock. The movement uses a needle shaped regulator, should be dagger shaped. Dial is off, like all sandwich dial reps.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00503-logo-swiss...6497-p-874.html -- Same comments as the PAM005 links above. Oh, and I don't like bracelets. ;)

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00901-base-swiss...6497-p-622.html -- Cool watch, I love base dials. PVD coating is incorrect, as stated above. Also, check with Josh, I don't believe this watch is available anymore, either.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn19603-daylight-c...7753-p-882.html -- Great watch, great movement. My favorite PAM chrono. The old case was more accurate, but they're gone now. Pricey...

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn25001-2006-dayli...753-p-1118.html -- I much prefer the PAM196 dial to this one. Otherwise, see above...

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn17201-tantalium-...497-p-2035.html -- Check with Josh, but I don't think this watch is available anymore.

There you have it. Those are my *opinions*. You asked for it, you got it. Others will likely disagree with some of the things I said, but those are my preferences.

Good luck. I hope this helped some.

ABSOLUTELY GREATE, I am soooo thankful Peepshow, I can make this conclusion i may be the http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00101-swiss-unitas-6497-p-778.html -- . I see that this one and the Daylight is the only one you are voting for. All the other is like something you miss. Btw. Like i sad i have a Daylight 2 years old, it looks very good and goes like a dream after the last maintaining. The only thing is the silver second hand always stands on 1 instead of 12 , it doesent goes all the the way to twelve. Hope you understand my english  .

Maby i should only buy new hands and keep the watch. Anyway. I might go for the one you recomended, and i hope that it is a good clockwork and things you can se on the piture. Hope as well that the watch will lock the same when i get it B) I dont really get the UNITAS ore ETA difference. Im a bit skeptical about the A 7750 but it still runns good.

Once more, THANK you allot for all the help!!!!!

Oh my... I got a brother here!

Btw... the 090 is a great watch to those who like performance over accuracy... but as Nicke stated he wants "one is the most like the gen", I subscribe to your list. ;)

I know it's not on your list, but I'd do a 112H on a bracelet assuming the daylight is on a strap...you can mix and match and the bracelet will be cheaper buying on a watch then buying it seperately. You'll then have two very distinct wathes....

Hmmmm , Lets see now...

i aksed for this one today bit sadly it was not in stock on the Perfect clones.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn17702-titanium-s...neck-p-868.html

how good do you think it is made? and dthe clockwork seems to be good too i think?.

and, does anyone know how much titanium it is in the titanium so to say?.

If i go back to what you recomended (peepshow) shouldnt it be transparant case back on this one.? I think i saw it on the genuine.

http://www.pc-80108.com/pn00101-swiss-unitas-6497-p-778.html

It should be 100%. AFAIK, titanium does not make alloys.

No.

Maybe the model you saw was a 111?

Sssurfer, in your explination i understand that the 117 is real Titanium, but wich one do you think is better the 117 ore the 101 that was a option earlier.

Like i sad the titanium is not in stock sadly, but is the 101 a good substitute?

Thanks for helping.

Please note we are talking about reps of PAM 001 and PAM 177, not 101 and 117 (Joshua's code should be read: PN001-01).

If what you are especially after is accuracy, then the 001 is better. A closed back model will always beat a display case model.

Just to say one thing, the 177 swan neck regulator is of the "needle" type, not "dagger" as it is on the gen.

Btw, Joshua's 001 also comes with Asian movement (PN00102), at $168 instead of $248.

Odd, my watchsmith got amazed at the quality of the most recent Asian 6497, he said they now look to have nothing or very little to envy to their Swiss counterparts... :g:

Still, he also added that former models he saw were of much poorer quality.

In the end, if you do not want to take a gamble, then yes, better going to the Swiss model.

But be adviced that getting a 100% Swiss is a gamble -- and a very low chance gamble -- even on declared "Swiss" movements.

Hmmmm Okay this isn

Just get that watch and be happy. Waiting will not enhance your chances to get a 100% Swiss.

You will never know, so don't worry.

In case of troubles, Joshua's after-sale customer care is simply perfect.

If you get mad at thinking of Chinese parts in your movement, I humbly suggest that you reconsider your interest in the rep world. :)

I had four Unitas Movements so far.

1 gen swiss mvmt (the one with the stickers on top to simulate the E series paneraipaneraipanerai engraving)

2 hybrids (ETA stamps but different balance wheel, dagger, swan neck... (E + H series))

1 asian 6497 (No stamps or anything (H series))

Every movement was keeping perfect time, winding perfectly smooth and making no problems at all.

The last I knew, PureTime was still selling his 001B...

Thnx Peeps, i will look after at once!

BTW what about DSN, i have been in contact but he is abit slow replying hehe, but i like his collection of watches. After some reading here it seems that someone is happy and someone not. but i seem to like his selection of watches.

thnx /N
