DemonSlayer Posted June 14, 2008 Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 I've read some posts by By-Tor where he and others too state that using car wax on oyster bracelets gives it a very nice smooth and silky feel, it also midly polishes it too because car wax is only mildly abrasive. I've got some Turtlewax car wax, on the bottle it states its mildly abrasive enough to remove oxidation. I was wondering if using this will alter the very nice satin finish on the Noob bracelet, because those who know about Noob bracelets know that it's one of the best available in terms of finish Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

DemonSlayer Posted June 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 I just deburred the sharp edges (very quickly) using an ink eraser, oiled the bracelet using baby oil, and appliex car wax to the bracelet (4 coatings), rinsed it all out, and I must say, the bracelet feels and looks 10 times better! Also the satin finish is all there, the car wax is very mild and just brightened up the strap a bit, while giving it a silky smooth feel!
