Need help identifying Panerai crown

I have a V crown guard which will be replacing the one currently on this watch but I have no idea on what the crown is.

Is this just a standard crown or something a little better.?

That Crown looks pretty good from where I am

Choices are

1.) Gen from the Turkish Guy, though he does not seem to have S/S

2.) Palp, nearly as expensive as a Gen and just as rare

3.) DSN pretty good especially new sprung version

4.) Good 60 or poorer 48 toothed Rep version

looks like you've got a good 60 so I'd stick with it. Where was the original watch from its looks very nice

I would say standard rep crown.

Watch came from Muzi but I believe it was modded by someone else...needs a bit of a polish and some dust blown off the dial but apart from that I'm very happy.

I would have guessed 48 tine rep crown but I can never count teeth in a picture. IMHO, if V's CG requires any shaving on the lever you may want to think about changing the crown. There are and will be better choices.

So my question would be Davidsens new spring loaded crown or the upcoming crown from T.?

Agree on not touching V's new CG...It would be sacrilege to file it down.
