yld2rob Posted July 19, 2008 Report Posted July 19, 2008 Just got back from the Mont Blanc store in the mall. I noticed one Huge difference in the Gen Sport Crono collection watches. On the left side of the Gen watches they have the word MontBlanc on all the Reps I have seen, it says Meisterstuck!?!? Can someone explain such an huge flaw in Repping this watch? I have to say the Gen is fantastic!

You'll see that the rep is accurate in this case.

You'll see that the rep is accurate in this case. You are correct about the pic on the site. It does not say MontBlanc. But I guess now the Rep is outdated. The new models all say MontBlanc. I think I might order it anyway? It looks like a good Rep.

I think I might order it anyway? It looks like a good Rep. You'll find review of the same rep here. The only thing I don't like much about this rep is the bracelet. It's very good rep overall. If you like the look of this rep you should go ahead and buy it.

I think I might order it anyway? It looks like a good Rep. How does a rep get outdated because it's last years model? Only "new" counts? Some of the best looking Gen watches are "older" models.

I think I am going to go with this one as my first Rep. The 2nd will be the Breitling EVO once the 1:1 rep w/ large date font comes back in stock from Josh or Angus.
fakemaster Posted July 21, 2008 Report Posted July 21, 2008 The reps are made with Meisterstruck on them because people seem to cream over that. Don't know why. Some guys won't even buy a rep MB pen if it doesn't say that on there.
