slai
Unfortunately, search didn't turn up anything about this issue. I just received a 252 (a replacement for a DOA watch so it's an even bigger bummer) and the issue is that running seconds works, but the hour, minute, and GMT hand do not move at all. I can set the time and date with the crown just fine. Is this something fixable, or should I just send it back...again? Thx in advance.
RWG Technical
Cannon gear is defective, common problem, my guess is that when setting the time you feel very little resistance?? RG
slai
RG, absolutely correct. Alright, it's going back. Thanks.
RWG Technical
Well given all the problems you have had going and coming, maybe another option is to fix it... RG
slai
Thing is I'm not absolutely sure whether I'm in love with it or not...my plan was to wear it for a bit while my friendly neighbourhood maritime watchmaker was on summer vacation , and if I did want to keep it, make an appointment for the full treatment. Now I'm just frustrated with it...
