My UPO was tested in a similar fashion; any non-chrono with screw-down crown should do fine but I don't think I would risk it again. I'm heading off to the pool and taking my Casio. Seriously though...I always check the gaskets on all of my watches and apply silicon lube before subjecting them to water. Haven't had any issues yet!
