Hi Everyone. I'm Acolyte57 from the Netherlands and I'm not actually not that much into replica's. Without offending anyone, the idea of customizing a replica to the point that it's indistinguishable from a real watch just doesn't hold so much interest for me. I'm too young, so no one would believe me if I had a Rolex or Breitling on my wrist no matter how real it'd look. They'd know it was fake.

I am however very much into the watches themselves and have absolutely no qualms about wearing a homage piece that blatantly copies the looks. I just don't need that perfection you guys crave . Recently I've bought a few Marina Militares on eBay and felt that the pieces were lacking. After asking around for tips on modifications I was pointed into the direction of several replica forums, including this one, because people here have the most experience. So far you haven't dissapointed! Read a lot of interesting things already... Just need to get my mind made up on what to try first.
