Acolyte57 Posted July 28, 2008 Report Share Posted July 28, 2008 Hi Everyone. I'm Acolyte57 from the Netherlands and I'm not actually not that much into replica's. Without offending anyone, the idea of customizing a replica to the point that it's indistinguishable from a real watch just doesn't hold so much interest for me. I'm too young, so no one would believe me if I had a Rolex or Breitling on my wrist no matter how real it'd look. They'd know it was fake. I am however very much into the watches themselves and have absolutely no qualms about wearing a homage piece that blatantly copies the looks. I just don't need that perfection you guys crave . Recently I've bought a few Marina Militares on eBay and felt that the pieces were lacking. After asking around for tips on modifications I was pointed into the direction of several replica forums, including this one, because people here have the most experience.
