Killer moths! Not really

I'm not really in to bugs, in fact would rather avoid them, but these 2 creatures were on my porch today and were actually pretty cool. It's raining, so their wings got wet and they couldn't fly. My cats were batting at them with thier little paws, and I felt the need to rescue them. I think I made them happy. See if they look like they're smiling in the pics. Just don't call me "The Moth Whisperer" or anything

Still doesn't compare to the great salamander stampede of last summer....literally thousands of them trekking accross my driveway and lawn.
