I noticed on my "old" (25 year old) real Rolex Osterdate that the serial number was on the underside of the bracelet. I know one of the distinguishing features that seperates a Rep Sub and a Real Sub is the Rep has the serial number on the bracelet and the real one doesn't. My question to the Rolex experts is, is this unique to Subs only, or at some point did Rolex quit putting serial numbers on bracelets?

Serial? Or reference number?

I've only seen a few bracelets with the serial on the clasp... But typically with the bracelets, it's the bracelet's reference that's stamped on the last outer link (e.g. 93150):

That's what I meant. Sorry, but I'm still curious why do Rep Subs have this and real Subs don't have this?

Genuines do as well... This is how you can identify the bracelet ref, etc.

i.e. 93150, 78360, and so on. And, since I like to use pictures to illustrate things, here is a genuine 93150:
