blade007
Hiya fellas, I am kinda bored with my Chopard 1000 Miglia GT XL (black dial) and thought a change of strap might spice things up a little. What would you suggest? got any inspiring eye candy and suggestions?
Watchmeister
I have the same feeling with mine. I was going to look around and maybe check out the price of a gen Chopard. Is the lug width 22 or 23mm? I tried a standard 24mm PAM strap and it didn't fit.

blade007
its 23/22. 24mm strap is a bit of a squeze at the lug side.
addirk
hi ppl, i did dome research and found out that the lug width is 23mm. So the best option is to squeeze a 24 within the lugs...if ya do not wanna see any gaps.
blade007
here is one from hava's thread ...(with link back to original thread).. I think that strap looks like a gen, alternative is hirsch but they dont so 24mm, what a shame.. Edited August 14, 2008 by blade007
verbal
I've been lurking around on various websites to find the Jacky Ickx look for my MM Chrono and found this some time ago: Bought it at watches24seven.com and am very pleased with the result. The strap is 24/22 but it's very soft calf so it'll fit easily between the 23mm lugs. another teaser:
Mickey Padge
Looks very similar to the strap I have for my chopard, 24mm too, but it fits well.... Click to expand: Got mine here: http://www.strappedfortime.com/3HoleLeatherRacingStrap.html The brown strap on the silver dial Chopard looks amazing, really lifts the dial Only $35 too, I have one in brown and black, for my silver and black dial Chopards respectively......
