Asian 7750; delayed minute hands kick in

Hello

I am very proud to report that I have just opened my IWC 3706 for the first time (was very anxious about it beforehand) to regulate speed. Everything went well, no professional help needed right now.

I took some photos but I'm still terrible so I spare you the details.

I have noticed something strange though:

When I set the time, the second at 9 hand kicks in immediately after pushing the crown and stem back in. The minute hand starts only after about a minute or so. If I want to set time correctly, I have to set it one minute early as the hand sets in after that minute.

Is this a known problem? Can I fix it?
