Black Bird quick set date...?

Just got the Black Bird in and it looks great...

One question I have for the current BB owner: Is there a quick set date function from the crown...?? Or is it no such function with that movement...? I was told the 1st pull out crown position is for the quick set date, but in my case, the crown just turn freely both directions when in the 1st pull out position...

Hi!

There are 3 positions:

1.: to handwind the movt. (turn it clockwise)

2.: to set the date (turn it clockwise)

3.: to set the time (bidirectional)

I know some members had this problem with the BB date: the quick date set did not work. I have a BB (from Josh) for almost a year and the quick date set works perfectly (as mentined, the second position when you pull the crown), so don't agree to less than this when you get your replacement.

I thought I had the same problem and I changed date advancing the hour hundreds of times!!.

In the forums I learned that the BB has the usuala quick date set position. After some deeper tries, it worked, but turning it counter clokwise.

That was my experience. Now, it works perfectly well.
