And still you will have a fake watch. So maybe you better save for a gen, or go for one of the rep versions (BP?) , fix the easy fixes and live with the remaining flaws. IMO, it's the best solution.

It's ddifficult to see from the factory's pics, but they look quite nice. Do they have AR'd cyclop?

I received recently PAM 237 from one of the TD's and it got all full of water after I rinsed it for a few seconds when washing hands. So don't put your PAM rep in water before you check it for water resistance or someone do it for you. Even if it comes from the best dealer.

Yes, your rep is based on the new sub with the ceramic insert that also has a maxi dial, but it still has a way to go.

I have a modded WM9 V1 (V2 dial and hands, clark crystal, WM insert etc.) and it is heavier than the gen (compared side by side with a friend who owns a gen sub), because the V1 bracelet is heavier.

OK, I am more than happy to agree, so if the AR is good, the watch is really great. I love it anyway, and it's not too shiny.

Apologize for the quality of the pics. The watch is nice, the DW is not a problem in this black version, imo. The only problem I see is the relatively weak AR compared to other breitling reps like SOSF, BCE and skyland, but the watch is quite impressive overall.

This proves what KB posted: "The closer you get to the point of manufacture the cheaper an item gets". Anyway, as long as you are happy, that's what counts. Enjoy your new reps.

I think you can get the same "quality" in Canal St. for similar prices. I would'nt go to Bali for these watches. You can't compare to the watches the dealers in this forum are selling.

Actually, this is very similar to the new sub with the ceramic bezel which also has maxi dial and hands.But I like my LV sub with green insert. Of course, I have also a black bezel sub.I leave them both as they are.

At last, the perfect sub.

PT is great to deal with, I hope you will get a good GMT II as I have from him. Superb quality. You need to be little patient with him, but don't worry, everything will be fine.

I have the GMT IIc from PT, the swiss ETA version. It's a great quality and no modds are necessary although I don't mean this rep is perfect. The flaws are: 1. Of course, the WHS but there is nothing to do about it,It's the more reliable movement, mine works perfectly. 2. The absence of AR on the cyclop, this is also problematic to mod. Some members tried, I think with no success, 3. The markers on the full ceramic bezel insert are grayish and not the same white colour as the hour markers and hands. This flaw bugs me most, I think it's not possible to find a better aftermarket insert (one version is sold on ebay for ~ $100, I am not sure about the quality), 4. The gap between the SEL and the bracelet is too big and this flaw is also quite recognizable, but a minor one, IMO. 5. The rolexrolex rehaut engraving does not exactly match the hour markers at 9 and 3, although in the PT version it is quite close, but this is hard to recognize by the naked eye. 6. The engraving in the inner side of the clasp is faint, but this can't be seen when you wear the watch. Maybe I forgot some other very minor flaws. To summarize, this is one of the best rolex reps, and a very good value for the money, especially when you buy the swiss ETA. i would not go for cheeper versions. I think PT sells only the best (and more expensive) version but IMO this is the one to go. With the full ceramic insert this watch is very impressive and really feels like gen.

It is the sub with ceramic bezel that will be out in 2010 (maybe). The pics show clearly an ETA 2836-2 movement. It looks like the clasp is improved compared to the one that Josh has,and the bezel insert looks better. Maybe only better pictures. But anyway, 1k is crazy for a rep.

Looks very good, especially the dial and date font , if just change the pearl and shave the CG's it would become a great sub for the price. Enjoy.

You are right, I also have a slightly modded SSD (WM pearl and trimmed CG's) which I like, but this is quite an obvious tell.

The rehaut is still a problem in this watch.

I don't like the deepsea for the reasons you mentioned (huge, heavyweight etc.) but that replication looks top notch. Enjoy, whatever you choose to do with it.

I think the AR that comes with rep breitlings is very good, almost as good as the gen (At least I can say it about my SOSF, BB and BCE). But you can't compare the lume and of course the movements (although the SOSF rep that was mentioned by By Tor has almost the same 2824 movement as the gen).
