Looks very good, although the pearl is a bit strange. Maybe try to change to WM pearl, otherwise it looks great for one third of the SSD price.

I have the regular version (with rubber and extra SSB) for more than a year, it works fine althought it does'nt get a lot of wrist time. The lume is crap but this is common to most reps.

Still enjoying my new skyland.

Thanks for the feedback, I really like that watch. I was afraid of the heavy weight but it is OK, feels very comfortable.

No doubt that your movement needs fixing. If you can't find a local watchsmith to do it (better option, IMO), ask your dealer for a replacement. This is not the a way a new watch should work. You don't need to handwind a watch 40 rounds to keep power.

Hi Lani, Great pics, I like better the grey dial because it is more unique, but I have to agree that the lume dots are much better on the black dial. Enjoy them both.

Great. The dial and hands are incredible. You know if it is possible with SMP chrono too? I kind of get lost in Ofrei lists and don't know what to order.

There is no perfect out of the box rep. You can wear all those IWC that I mentioned without modding anything and 99.9% of people would never pay attention, but it depends how you feel about it. Even if you put the correct the DW some minor flaws will still be there: for example, the hands of the ingy (hour and minute) are little beat shorter than the gen and there's nothing you can do about it and the Co. on the case back is wrong, the 3717 still has the thick numbers and hour markers compared to the gen, and I am not sure about the slevin since I don't own one yet , but you are reffered to Pug's excellent review on this watch. So in conclusion, you either have to compromise on some flaws or invest a lot of time and money in modding or invest a lot of money (not so much time though) and buy a gen. So good luck and I am sure you will enjoy any of the great IWC reps that were mentioned here.

I have ingy and 3717 and plan also on the slevin. All are great, but all of them need DW swap.

I think the bracelet is not so bad.

Put my SOSF on a rubber silicone from strapped for time, looks good IMO, and very convenient. I have the diver pro (rep) but I can't stand the tang buckle.

With a gen you can remove the AR and it is still a gen, but a breitling rep with no AR "screams fake" because all gen breitlings have AR coating.

Asked Josh about the 22/20 ocean racer strap, his reply that "it should be on the making", so there is some hope. This strap may be a good solution for those who don't enjoy too heavy watches (with SSB) and don't manage with leather straps and tang buckles (like myself).

This LV from Naarika is not bad either, just need to change to WM pearl and a thinner datefont. I have already the overlay but need to glue it to the DW.

I would recommend the "ultimate" BCE and avenger skyland V2 in terms of accuracy, and the blackbird in terms of beauty (although not so accurate). I would not sell a swiss SOSF unless I buy a gen instead. This is a top quality rep with almost the same movement as the gen (breitling caliber 17 is based on ETA 2824-2). I have mine for about a year and it is perfect. Enjoy.

The major flaw of the asian SOSF (not talking about the movement) is the lack of anti reflective coating on the crystal. This flaw is less visible in the white dial than in the black or blue dials. I think changing the pearl is a problem and even if you do it you will still have significant flaws such as the lack of AR coating and the missplaced wing. IMO, instead of buying the asian version and trying to invest in modds, you should go for the swiss ETA, and maybe try to consult the forum before purchase (this is for your next watch). Anyway, wear it well.

Is the omega writing and number on the clasp there? it's hard to tell from Andrew's pics.
