  1. The blackbird SS bracelet is stunning and the watch looks very cool even on a small wrist. In terms of accuracy, it is less accurate than the BCE, skyland or SOSF. the flaws are: the date window little too big and the hour markers (little) too thin, but you notice it only when you compare side by side to the gen. There was an issue with a non centered pearl but later versions corrected it.
  2. Great summary of the 3 best breitling reps. I agree with every word, I have all 3, but the breitling rep I like most although I know it's not the most accurate in the blackbird.
  3. Why bother with wrong web pictures? Our reps are well aligned. it's really a nice sports watch.
  4. Hi Lani , Don't worry, it's not so tight as it might look in the pic. I don't like to wear my watch tight and the fingers are still OK , I need them for work. Take care my friend, yaron
  5. This pic and strap modification is mine, and I can say it is very comfortable and looks great. But as you can see this is a SOSF. The skyland is more comportable to wear than the SOSF because the reasons you mentioned, so I don't think you need a large wrist to feel comfortable with the skyland (from my experience), although it is quite a heavy weight.
  6. I am not a sub expert, and I agree with every word said by the respected members about doing some reading and research. But to be practical, I think that according to the specifications you mentioned the "Noobmariner" can serve you for a long time with a look close enough to the gen. Of course, it is a great price. Just don't try to fool rolex experts.
  7. When the factorys take care of these flaws they will just make new flaws to keep new versions coming.
  8. Great pics but I think we got the idea. Wear it well.
  9. Great pics, very impressive, thanks. The lume looks great. Wear it well.
  10. Welcome Simon, if you are located in the UK you are in great condition, go for Precious time, He has superb quality.
  11. I agree, this watch looks and feels great. Great bracelet, descent weight, elegant, everything you want in a watch.
  12. Everything is good.. thanks my friend. Enjoy the weekend, and congrats for the new Explorer.
  13. I know the GMT Master IIc is kind of boring to most of you, but I just got this new one and I am still amazed by the quality. Will wear all weekend and probably after.
  14. Josh has one like that in his website for $318, looks nice but quite expensive for a future model that was repped according to pictures, probably. The blue dials shown here look cheap, I think both bezels suck and the clasp is wrong (the gen is similar to the deepsea with glidelock). I think we should wait for an improved version of the blue dial rep, and for the black dial first wait for the gen to come out.
  15. i also did a modofication on this uncomfortable strap and it is much better, and a lot easier to put on or take of. I cut the rubber strap from both sides and adjusted the SSB clasp to the rubber strap. Pics enclosed.
  16. Hi Ryan, Sorry about the troubles because the watch looks great. Hope you can solve it locally and save the hussle of shipping it back. BTW, if you have 1-2 extra links after resizing the bracelet I'll be ready to buy from you. My bracelet is too tight. You can PM me.
  17. I also think the Milgauss is a very interesting rolex, looks different from the common Sub, SD, GMT's, etc. Some people complained about the lack of date and incorrect font on the dial. Seems like minor issues. the gen looks and feels very nice (unfortunately, I don't own one, just tried at AD). About the GMT IIc , nothing to add, tons of words were writtrn in RWG and other boards. If you can afford it, get them both..

    IWC noob.

b16a2 and Pugwash, thanks a lot for your help, I will order that. Actually, I have the same day & DW swap in my 3717 but this was done by Jakub along with the AR work. I am looking forward to complete my small IWC "series" and to add the slevin to the 3717 and Ingy.

    IWC noob.

Hi Pugwash, I need your advise as an IWC expert. I am planning on a SSB Slevin and I want to order the day & DW from cousins, but I don't know the technical term. They ask for caliber etc. Can you advise me? Thanks a lot.
  20. I totally agree. Maybe this is an opportunity to thank you for your great skyland V2/V3 review. Very informative and also lot of fun and humor. Really one of the top reviews I've read.
  21. Thanks for your expert reply. I am happy that I got what I wanted. The watch is great, keeps perfect time, chronos work fine and no doubt is one of the best reps available.
  22. Very nice pics. Can a skyland expert tell me if mine is a V2 or V3? I asked for V2 but I am not sure what I got/
  23. Very interesting to see the great revolutionaries Che and Fidel wear Rolexes. Are these real pictures?
