offshore
Question 1 When you say, you are trying to wind it, is that by shaking it, or by winding it at the stem? Once we know this, stage 2 of the diagnosis can commence Offshore

offshore
OK, try shaking it gently for more than a few seconds, and see if it runs on longer.

offshore
OK, without knowing which movement this is, further diagnoses not possible. But if you have no watch repair skills, it certainly sounds like a job for a competent repairer. Maybe try ringing a couple in your town, and ask them if they have a problem working on reps? If you can tell them the movement...it may or may not help! Alternatively contact your supplier, and see if he will have it looked at, or recommend someone to do so.
