Guest carlsbadrolex
I have spent the last 20 minutes searching google for some direction as to how the stem is retained in a 2892-2. I do not see a stem release "button" and none of the screws seem to be in the proper place. How is the stem removed from this movement? Any help is appreciated!!! stilty
Hey T, The stem is removed the same was as with a 2824, 2836, etc. Look for the key-hole shaped hole, and the release button is inside. It is just not as obvious as with the other movements.
sssurfer
Sorry to be late here. Follow stilty's instruction, but be sure to use a 1mm screwdriver (black color code) to push in the hole, or you will likely mess with the keyless work.
