vlydog
I just spent the last few minutes trying on several new straps for my 3717. I love the deployment buckle but, no matter how hard I try or what set-up I use, it always feels uncomfortable. I have always placed the shorter side of the strap on the 12 o'clock lug side and the long side of the strap on the 6 o'clock lug side. I remember viewing a thread recently where a poster had it positioned the opposite way; so I tried it. It helped a bit but still uncomfortable. So now I have it on the tang buckle which provides a more comfortable fit. My question is this: Is there a right or wrong way to attach the strap to the lugs? My current set-up is short side 6/long side 12. Thanks
dluddy
I find deployants, in general, to be uncomfortable. The correct way to wear a deployant is to have the "Tail" coming back towards the 6:00 side, which is typically opposite a tang buckle installation. I have the IWC deployant this way and find it to be more comfortable. Oddly, my JLC deployant is the opposite.
