szvwj
It took a long time, a lot of searching, and a bit of money, but I finally found the perfect tool to remove the strap from my Dewitt. Now I just need to find the right 21mm leather strap (with curved ends). It's weird how happy this makes me.
Guest shura110
Good job!!! I wish someone can find the tool to open a caseback as well.
szvwj
I'll most likely be searching for a caseback tool next. Thank goodness I haven't needed one yet, the watch has run flawlessly since I bought it (it's one of the nicest reps I own). I can't wait to put a nice leather band on it. So far I have found this, that might be good for the caseback: http://www.hobbytool.com/33pctamperproofsecuritybitset.aspx
dadog13
szvwj...have you bought the tool from the internet or did you source it elsewhere?
szvwj
I took the watch to a specialty tool place and asked them if they knew of a tool that would fit the screw. I had to order an entire set (almost $40), just to get one bit, but it fits perfectly.
