jasonz1000 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 I did a search, but still want to know from the experts, how accurate is the seadweller nowadays?
jasonz1000 Posted September 14, 2008 Author Report Posted September 14, 2008 1665 or 16600? Whoops.first question, and i'm already in trouble...... What's the difference in versions? sorry, i'm really a noob with rolex, but want to get to know them...
ubiquitous Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 1665 is the old vintage from the late 60's - mid 80's (uses the Rolex caliber 1570). This has an acrylic crystal and matte dial with painted markers. 16660 is from the mid 80's - 90's (uses the 3035 caliber). This model is the first sapphire model with both matte and gloss dials. 16600 is the current model which is still in production up to the M serial where I believe it will be discontinued (this one uses the 3135 caliber). This model is of course sapphire and with the gloss dial. Hope this helps... Cheers, R

ubiquitous Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 There's several topics on the new 16600; Have a look around and research 'SSD'... A search on this criteria should yield lots of reading material
