pricing a modded old case 7753 196

Hey all,

Got a old case 196 w/7753 movement. Movement was serviced, dial/hands lumed, and palp crown installed...all work done by the wizard The Zigmeister.

Not wearing this much, so i am kicking around the thought of selling it...wanted to get an idea of what is a fair price?

So, not to sound like an ass, but please don't PM me about buying it...to put it up for sale will be a hard decision...I haven't scene a old case 7753 196 for sale in awhile, so I just wanted to feel out what these go for these days...

I guess I'll give the price a shot: $800-$1000.00 range!

I recently picked up a 196 old case with an A7750 that had been The Zigmeister-fied with OEM Crown and Lume. Prices ranged 500-600 USD.

I would imagine that a 7753 would be a bit more.

Hang on to yours! you will miss it! I love mine!

I would say between $1000 and $1200 dollars depending on the condition.

IMO minimum 1200$...and up, based upon the condition of the watch...

I'd suggest with increasing rarity of the case and upward price of the movement that anything less than $1500 is a steal - especially with all those mods!!

Keep it .....appreciation of your watches goes in cycles....

I'm guessing i'm into the watch for about $1000 with mods and all. so considering the rarity, i don't think i would consider letting it go for less than $1200 to $1500...but i do agree with slay, seems like a lot to pay for a rep...
