CJT74
Exciting times recieving your first rep. Just to hold it and see how accurate it is. I just got my first rep last Monday. Its a TT sub and I compared it to my gen SS sub and its pretty damn good. I have always been a handy guy and I have a sharp eye. I can see the very minor differences between the rep and the gen. The first was the bezel insert. The numbers on the rep were to fat and not sharply printed. I just changed the insert with an aftermarket and the difference is amazing. I am told I have one of the best TT sub reps and I believe it. Aside from the bezel insert the only other thing I will be doing is adjusting the crown guards. I can clearly see the difference between the rep and the gen. In my opinion its a dead give away. I am just waiting on my case back opener to arrive and I will be doing the job based onn the how to tip in the pinned section. Lots of good info here. One thing that is amazingly accurate is the etched cornet in the crystal at 6 o-clock. I examined my gen and the rep with a mag glass and they look identical in size, shape and visibility....which is not possible with the naked eye. Amazing.
