chilidog Posted July 12, 2006 Report Share Posted July 12, 2006 Hi all, i just got a new and interesting ebay spoof "phishing scam" in my email, to summarize it looks like a nice elderly person has sent me a PM in error, but it is actually a scam to try to harvest my ebay user ID and p'word, be aware if you get one like this...here is an excerpt (below), the clue is that the "respond to" button is a redirect to a offshore IP, dont fall for this!!! if you do, or did, change your ebay info promptly.
