mars08
Of course I mean how long, not "do long". Anyway... I was wondering how the lume on a 5yo Omega would compare to a new watch. Has anyone here owned a gen for for that long? Will there be any noticeable fade in that time? HauteHippie
Super luminova, unlike tritium, should not show any fade if I remember a The Zigmeister post from many moons ago correctly.... Search for it.
alphakazi
my Navitimer has had the same lume for as long as I can remember - I've had it 20 years - the lume sucked back then though - I have reps with better lume
mars08
I've seen a few pics of Seamasters where thew Super Luminova seems to have taken a brownish tint. Not sure if this degrades the brightness.
gillorin
Yep, I have owned about 9 gen Seamasters and the ones over several years all turned brown. I only have 1 now, a white dial, and the lume is pretty brown and the glow kind of sucks too. Bummer!
