URkuk Posted October 12, 2008 Author Report Posted October 12, 2008 I think its plated and probably a quartz movement..I have not opened it and looked Its stamped 1995 on the back and it is Swiss made so I am quite happy with it Not very flashie but a great price... Once I add a strap it will make a great beater.. Bill
